1. BDS Graduate Degree from any recognized Indian University recognized by Dental Council of India (D.C.I.) or equivalent qualification and permanently registered under Bihar & Orissa Medical Act 1916. (“If 4 and a half years BDS course and 01 year rotating internship have been done from foreign universities and the candidate passes the FDST examination conducted by NBEMS, then their degree will be recognized and such candidates will be considered educationally eligible for the post of dentist.”) 2. Compulsory internship training of 12 months in a hospital/institute recognized by the Dental Council of India and the Government is mandatory. There should not be a break of even a single day in the internship, whatever be the reason.
